Be a Godly Woman
I do not remember who wrote this (and if anyone knows please tell me as I believe they deserve credit), but the key to having a successful transition is to not let it become your life. Have a life outside of your transition and it will be a good one. This is a lot easier said than done. Nevertheless, if you plan on becoming a woman then be sure to become a godly woman. Personally, I find the transsexual transition kind of metaphorical. As humans in the process of theosis transition to become like God, so on earth do we transition to become like women. Yet, realize that the transition has an end in mind and that end is not to be a woman, but to live a happy life. Yes, I know we want our bodies to match up with our mind, but my point is that we ultimately do it to be happy. And in being happy many of us, we require to become complete women. Thus, become a holy person and be a godly woman. I do not know what that means for each person, that is between you and God. I do know, though, that this means to remember God at all times. Thank him at all times. Be glad that he is giving you a second chance to literally live as a new person. When times seem rough or you think that you can go on no longer . . . . .then just hope. It will get better soon. It has too. Most of all do not be afraid to talk to people. One piece of advice I never cared much for was 'just tell your problems to God'. It is good advice, but for those of us who are spiritually immature (and I am including myself) it is impractical. We are a communal people and a communal faith. God created other people to help us. That is the Christian way after all. Therefore do not be afraid to ask someone else for help. Try to explore and expand your faith with others. And above all else, never forget to ask the Holy Spirit for guidance.
